PIN CUSHION
This is a vintage wood shoe pin cushion, souvenir of Antwerp, hand carved (see photo of bottom), stain/finish applied then carved design and word "Antwerp" completed. The cushion feels like it is stuffed with saw dust and covered with green velvet. The edges of the shoe are covered with lace and solid ivory colored satin bow in front. The lace and bow are held in place with brass tacks. There is nothing wrong with the back of the cushion where it meets the wood shoe - it is the way the cushion is made. There are small scuffs to the finish here and there, the lace and bow show a little age discoloration. Cute souvenir pin cushion
