This auction is for a great vintage, if not antique sewing pin cushion ~ perfect for the seamstress or collector!  This and other items we now have listed have been purchased at the recent rural Kansas estate auction. This listing:
1 pin cushion
surely dates from the 1940s or 50s
all hand crocheted in shades of pink and ivory
heart or pineapple shape
satin ribbon woven through the crochet work and tied at the top
it measures 5 inches by 5 1/2 inches
often these cushions were used on a vanity to store hat pins or used when quilting to set on the quilting frame
a rusty age smudge noted on the backside ~ See photo
hand made
color shade is accurate on my monitor
appears to have been stored for years
