Vintage figural pincushion bisque porcelain hen and egg numbered limited edition

Description

This is a very interesting and unusual vintage figural pincushion.  It is made of bisque porcelain and has an impressed number of 4885 on the lower back of the item, which I am interpreting as a production number of a limited edition item.
The pincushion depicts a hen and egg and she appears to be writing something down, maybe she is counting her chicks before they hatch!  It is truly a unique piece.
It measures 3 1/2 inches tall and the base is 2 1/2 inches by 1 3/8 inches.  There are no chips cracks, or other damage that I can find on the piece.  The pincushion is a golden plush which represents the yolk of the egg.
