The Midwest Snips® two-piece offset aviation snip set flows material away from the blades and positions the user's hand above the material for best maneuverability when making long cuts or tight curves. The manufacturing process produces unequalled strength, the longest lasting edge life, and the most precise cutting action. The blades are hot drop-forged of molybdenum alloy steel for exceptional strength and durability and austemper heat-treated to best accept and hold their precision-ground cutting edge. Glide-Tech® forged blades cut complete from the "pinch of the blades through their points." The blades pivot on a grade 8 bolt that is threaded and affixed into the bottom blade, keeping the blades in precision adjustment and, if ever necessary, allowing them to be readjusted to extend peak performance. The KUSH'N-POWER® compound leverage handle action with a patented (US D718,602, D719,808) handle grip design multiplies the handle force to the cutting blades, requiring the least amount of hand force while providing a soft, sturdy, and comfortable grip.
