You are purchasing a bit warmer. I make these myself and have a WIDE variety of colors available. MAKE SURE TO VERIFY COLOR CHOICES!! (some may be sold out, or may have other colors available!)
To use this bit warmer you put it in the microwave and heat it up from 30 seconds to a minute. It stays warm up to 20 minutes wrapped around the bit. (I tested this while the temperature was below 10 degrees outside.) It will keep the bit warmer longer as it acts like an "insulator." Once the bit is warmed up and wrapped up, it will stay warm up to 40 minutes.
These work on any type of bit you may own. From Draft to miniature, Single to Double Bridle, and from western to english, it fits them all!
